I maintained accurate financial records for SPM activities and dues records for 128 members. In addition to facilitating communication between executive officers, Fundraising Chair, and Webmaster, I also managed and collaborated on fundraising events with the Fundraising Chair and its committee, launching a fundraiser to sell new shirts. I also initiated the effort to submit SPM-branded items for the time capsule celebrating the LSU Student Union's 60th birthday.

I supervised a design challenge for a group of 6-8 College of Engineering freshmen, guiding them
through their chosen project by asking leading questions and fostering collaborative problem-solving discussions.
I also participated in 2 panel discussions, addressing inquiries related to my internship experiences and sharing
insights on my campus involvement experiences.
In August 2023, my team was awarded 2nd place in their category for their Arduino project!

I created and managed the organization's budget by tracking 16 officers' individual expenses, ensuring reimbursements and fines were addressed in a timely manner. I also organized and conducted 2 meetings of 8 members to discuss the semester's dues scholarship distribution, assuring confidentiality for each applicant's information.

I planned and executed 10-12 events per semester to raise funds, gathering and incorporating member feedback after each event. I raised about $700 funds more than the expected incoming funds in 2021-22 academic year.

In addition to visiting London, Ambleside, and Edinburgh, we took a few excursions to Bath, Stonehenge, Oxford, and Glasgow. After being immersed living in the UK and studying the dialects of the British Isles and history of the English language, I gained a greater understanding of British/Scottish culture and the intricacies of dialects and languages. My favorite memory was navigating the London Underground by myself for the first time to have a solo lunch outing, where I enjoyed a 4-course meal with Japanese Wagyu and authentic hand-grated wasabi!
A photo of myself at the Halliburton Scholars banquet (Spring 2023)
As a student in the College of Engineering with an interest in the Oil & Gas industry, I applied for and was awarded one of 25 spots in the Halliburton Scholars Program, accompanied by a corresponding scholarship.
Through this program, I have been able to develop my professional, leadership, networking, and teamwork skills in a
variety of workshops and team-building excursions.
S&B Scholarship Banquet (Fall 2023)
The S&B Engineers and Constructors Scholarship in Engineering is awarded to upperclassmen whose enrolled credit hours and
current work hours sum up to at least 30 hours per week.
Over the past few semesters, I have been enrolled in 16 credit hours and worked
one or more part-time jobs while in school. This scholarship has provided me financial and personal support by boosting my confidence and affirming the value of my
commitment to classes, jobs, and extracurriculars.

At the end of the year banquet, for 2 years consecutively, I was nominated and voted by my peers for the superlatives Most Organized, Most Reliable, and Brother of the Year, which is awarded to a member of the organization that goes above and beyond in their contributions to the organization and exemplifies qualities in Scholarship, Leadership, and Fellowship.

President's Honor Roll is awarded to students who take at least 15 credit hours and obtain at least a 4.0 semester GPA.
Each semester, I took between 15 and 17 credit hours and obtained between a 4.0 and 4.22 semester GPA.
Achieving President's Honor Roll was a goal I set for myself in my freshman year, and I am happy to be able to say I've obtained this honor 5 times in my college career!

I have greatly enhanced my comprehension of business practices through hands-on experiences, specifically in training 40 document-scraping AI models for parsing invoices and order acknowledgments. Additionally, I successfully created an API link between two accounting systems to improve our accounting team's work efficiency. I have also improved my communication skills by collaborating with a diverse team on the development of an accounting module for a new ERP system.

In the lab, I coordinated with other Teaching Assistants to answer questions for a room of 30 students. I learned how to ask thought-provoking questions and quickly adjust my explanations of programming concepts based on each student's proficiency and learning style. I also mentored 2 groups each with 6 students through their project development and facilitated communication between the designated team leader and the professor.

As a former participant in the Congressional App Challenge (LA District 6, 2017 - 3rd place), I felt a strong desire to contribute and give back to one of the programs that had played a role in shaping my interest in technology and innovation. Serving in this capacity allowed me to evaluate the innovative solutions developed by students and communicate with the specific district's communication representative about judging criteria and deadlines.

In a fast-paced environment, I collaborated with other interns and senior developers to produce a cross-functional application for a variety of clients. I attended weekly meetings with the team to troubleshoot issues hindering development, where I embraced challenges and opportunities for growth and fostered teamwork by reaching out for help when needed. I also participated in biweekly meetings with clients to provide updates and obtain feedback on the project.
